Hi!
I got my nail trainer second hand and had the same issues as you, until someone told me that to get my tips to stick with the glue I had (not the EN tips or glue) to lightly remove the shine from the Nail Trainer nails and then tailor the tips cos the sizes on the trainer were not standard. Works a charm! (and great practice for tailoring tips as well).

And yes, we've all stuck ourselves to something or someone, sometimes more than once. Some still do it (as I raise my hand).

:)

I bought some Gelbond from CND and it was awesome!!

It certainly is awesome - although it is also the one most likely to have me glued to something / someone else. Not the fault of the adhesive I hasten to add, I just tend to over-squeeze and it leaks out onto my desk towel when I'm not looking.

Ahhh... the nights I've gone home and discovered a crispy piece of desk towel stuck to my wrist / jumper / **** (yes, I said it).

Just a quick tip, using the nail trainer nails all the time can get a bit expensive. If all you want to do is concentrate on L+P application remove the shine of a tip, attach it to the end of a orange stick with blue tak, its easier to hold a tip this way. Then this way you can keep the trainer nails for when you want to practise a whole nail. I know this is an old favourite by everyone just thought I'd point it out again!

hi everyone ive got a nail trainer and i started practicing but ive only got certain sized nail extension tips i tried to glue them on my nail trainer tips and they wouldnt stick!!!! do i have to have the nail trainer practice tips from EN or can i use any type?

please dont quote me on this but i think you need to use the nail trainer adhesive as well not the normal nail glue you have ..... i could be wrong

Why? the EN glue is awful and it clogs up and doesnt set quick enough. Its really expensive compared to other glues by about a fiver and I ended up throwing 2 bottles 3/4 full. If another glue works better what difference does it makes, I mean how are they going to know!!

Hiya Just to let you know you can use any glue or tips, I would advise doing all the nails you get with the course cos if you can master them nails you can master any, if you are not sure about anything just ring or email EN up they will ring you and talk you through anything you aren't sure about Sarah is lovely and she comes on here as well so you could pm her. Good Luck

ive never used any of the extensions or glue that was given with any of my EN courses. i preferred to size up my own extensions and use my own glue (i just made sure that i held it place for alot longer to allow them to stick properly)...also the number 13 nail isnt the easiest nail and from what ive read, and experienced myself, alot of people have had issues with that particular nail!!
