I'm not meaning to be rude at all..just very curious. How do you buy the full size without being a pro? I know sallys sells the minis to non pros but didn't think you could buy the full size.

I buy them off amazon and eBay. :). They are very easy to get ahold of. Several people sell them online. Its great bc I usually buy from the seller "quick-e-shoppe" bc she sells almost all the colors for good prices and ships quickly. And I get a full sized bottle for less $ than a half size at Sally's. :)

Lol, temptation is just too hard to resist. They went on sale at 8pm on Friday night and I managed to hold out until 10.30pm - such willpower:rolleyes: I am hoping they will be here tomorrow :biggrin::biggrin: .

I expect lots of pictures to batter the last of my resistance :green:

:)I think the purple looks amazing !! that is the one im gona buy

I also buy mine on Amazon.com and Ebay for around $13 a bottle. I own over 65 bottles and plan to buy them all eventually :)

I did some nail art with all of the colors in this collection. :)

I'm sure I saw a post on your website where you were in fact gifted Harmony stuff for review? Since your swatches feature on the official harmony facebook pages I was presuming there was a trade off & at least some of your products were free from the manufacturer?

Found the post. Half way down is a selection of products gifted courtesy of harmony:

Chickettes: Gelish Swatches, Gelish Colors, Nail Polish, Nail Art, Reviews, Swatches and Tutorials

Still, perhaps they want you to play that down. They're one of many companies that markets itself as "professional only" & is actually courting diyers on the sly with pretty free gifts. Or perhaps I'm a cynic full of conspiracy theories

Your swatches are the best I've seen & a great resource but I do feel quite grumpy that you (and other diyers) have access to & buy gelish at $13 a bottle! Grumble over

I always reveal when products are provided for review. I post a lot of my nail art and swatches on the Gelish Facebook page, and they provided me with 6 mini bottles once. The rest of my Gelish collection is purchased. I spend a lot of money on polish that rarely gets used :)

Perhaps this is the case in the UK. Please remember Chickettes is based in the US. Gelish is sold openly to the public at our version of Sally's. Our Sally's only sells product available to the public, no pro only brands at all. They only sell the mini bottles For 14.

Chickettes…so glad to see you on SG. We love your swatches. Your comparisons have saved us time, money and our sanity!

Thanks for the warm welcome, Bo! I'm glad you find my swatches helpful. I'm on a mission to swatch every Gelish color available :)

I understand that many on here might be upset that you are a DIYer. However, that picture you posted is absolutely fab. Actually the nails, design and neatness is a lot better than some of the nails I have seen on here done by some "professionals". But that's an argument I don't want to get into. So back on topic.

They arrived today - yay. Unfortunately I haven't been able to take photos in the daylight, so I think they look a bit darker in my pictures than they really are. Like all the newest collections, these are thicker so they need to be applied thinly to avoid wrinkles. I find the hardest thing to do with with these thicker polishes is colorpops.

Every colour in the collection covers really well in two coats.

Ah alright.

Juicy Lucy how do you make your labels??

Mine arrived yesterday so I had a play :) found them really thick. Personally I prefer a thinner consistency however love the colours xx

This post is pure evil!! My weakening resistance to buying colours cant take it!!:lol:

Oh those swatches are tempting! Doesn't NH normally do VAT free at the show, or online if you can't make it in person?

I've just found an NH outlet (Chantal Beauty) that stocks all colours too, so I can pop in on the way home and see them in the flesh if the stand is too manic next weekend.

More often than not, that offer doesnt include kits/collections or lamps online. xxx

Here's a comparison for the orange
