Hi Geeks

Ive been thinking about starting doing reular newsletters to all my existing clients to remind them about me and hopefully get some more bookings but im abit stuck as to what to put in it!!!

I dont want to do just a one off thing, would like to keep it fairly regular but dont know what to say in them. Does anybody else do this? How effective do you find them?

Ive done special offers and that in the past but havent found they work at all and i end up loosing out, because they were going to book the treatment and pay full price anyway.

If anyone has a template or a copy of a previous newsletter they have sent i would really appriciate having a little look at it, just to get some ideas and direction for where im going

Thank you

i shall watch this thread .....something i thought of doing myself
you could
send a different nail image
highlight and do a write up on a product you retail
do a myth or old wives tale and give out correct info
always send out your treatment menu each time
tell them to pass on to friends/family
cant think of any more at the mo............

Some good ideas!

What kind of special offers have you done? You are looking for 'add-ons' or 'extras' and example of which would be...with every luxury spa pedicure receive an indestructible french polish (or whatever you call it) free!

Another example....bring a friend, mum, sister, colleague and she gets her service at half price!

You are looking for extra business in addition to what people would normally book. I have to say that 'offers' work financially better for
salons with staff, who might otherwise be sitting twiddling their fingers but still getting paid:eek:

Hi I always send Newsletters to my clients every three months

It is the ideal place to tell them

About any new treaments

Holiday Closures

Price Changes

New Products in

Special Offers

Appointment booking procedure

Depending on your client book and how long they have been coming I also do a Hatch , Match and depatched section . Here I inform people of any Babies born to clients , Any marrigages taken place and any clinets that have left due to maybe moving area etc etc . I also let people know if any of the clienct had got new jobs etc . This gets the human interest

If you Pm me with your e mail addy I can send you an old one of mine across if you think it will help :)

I think I read something about that from Rebecca Kepple... either here, or at her web site... or in her free book, "The top 7 secrets"... Wellbeing Business Secrets - Home

Anyway, she had some great ideas, so go and browse a little :green:

I've read her stuff on here and it seems to go nowhere. Therefore I won't be paying 50 odd quid for a eBook that I suggest will probably do the same.
