Pamper Parties (again, I know).....opinions/idea please?

Hi

I work in a salon at the moment renting a room, since being there i have really bonded with the nail technician she rents her table in the hair salon.

We have both got together with a third party and we now do princess pirate partys.

we charge £140 for two hours min 8 kids max 1o kids.

included is as follows:

Sparkely make-up ( me ):)
Nails painted and nail art/glitter ( Nail Tech )
Hairstyling done by the Nail Tech
Glitter Hairspray
Splash of perfume
games with prizes for ALL the kids ( So noone gets left out )
Hotess gets a present to keep
All the children get a Goody Bag to take home along with a Princess Training Certificate.

FOR THE BOYS

Pirate eye patch
Bandana and sword
Tattoo
Goody Bag
Pirate Training certificate

Face painting is also available on request so we do a vairiety of different things for that special day

All three of us are Fully qualified in Beauty Nails/Hair and A Nursery Nurse and are all CRB checked

A photograph is taken as well for the hotess to keep and any other orders cost £3 per child.

Personlized invertations are sent out 3 weeks before so you can invite all your freinds and be the most talked about princess and pirate all around school

but once you have done a few and get the hang of it you can Party too :)

Hiya, I've not done the pamper party thing yet but I too think charging per head is better. Also I don't think £100 is too dear for a two hour pamper party as I just paid £120 for a Monkey Bizness party for 10 kids and all they did was throw themsleves around for just over an hour then get to sit for 45 minutes eating what I can only describe as Iceland food :eek: (no I have nothing against Iceland!) The 'host' was a newbie who didn't have a clue what he was supposed to be doing although he did try bless him, and I had to provide my own cake. The party packs were cheap and nasty toys and bubbles that you can pick up from any small newsagents for pence.

I'm not complaining (really!) as my daughter had a wonderful time and I feel it was money (well?) spent, what I'm saying is that if I would have had the choice, not my daughter, then I would have preferred a pamper party to the tat she got at the one she had.
