I know this hasn't got anything to do with hair. its more to do with the business side of things, im looking at doing a promotion to get my page around a little more and get it seen by more people. I really want to do a like and share thing but not to sure how its done? has anyone done one before that could advise me on how to do it fairly and what did you give away at the end off it. Thank you

If you want your page to be seen by more people it's better to just pay to advertise on there. People will always do like and share competitions but these tend to be penny-pinching clients who will never come to you so it's pointless of them liking your page. Also 'technically speaking' like and share competitions are against facebooks T&C's.

It's important as well to not get bogged down in the social media rat race of chasing likes etc. It's all vanity. It doesn't necessarily mean more business/clients. You need to advertise where your ideal client would be :)

Just my 2p worth.
