My reason to be cheerful(ish) is that my mum and I made up this evening after a long chat; we had a rather large fallout yesterday which resulted in me packing my bags and heading to my boyfriend, intending to stay indefinitely. She persuaded me to come back and talk about it and we've finally cleared the air about problems that have been festering for years. It's gonna be a long road to recovery but I hope we can be as close as we used to be again some day :)
 
I'm exceedingly happy as I only have 35 working days (Monday-Friday) left before maternity leave. It can not come quickly enough!!

I'm going to dress my 6yr old in all her new private school gear including hat and post it on bragbook to really wind my brother up who is totally against private school. He is a socialist and I am right wing. We clearly don't get on. Haven't spoken for 2 years. I'm laughing now just thinking about his reaction. Just the thought has made me very cheerful.
