Hi all,
I’ve been sorting the final bits before my business goes live , and I’m wondering how people do receipts for cash paying clients ?
Would be grateful for some ideas
Thanks all

Hi

Are you using a point of sale software?

Hi , not at the moment.
I have a sum up card reader for card transactions , but nothing for cash . I’m using shedul to keep track on my appointments and what I’m charging but nothing receipt wise .
Any suggestions ?

Do your cash clients request one? You could just set up an email template with your logo on it and email it to them if they request one!

Why not design a simple receipt slip with your logo and tag line or include info. about your services etc. and get them printed off.
You could even use the back of a business card with ‘thank you for your custom’ or similar printed on it, then you just write in the amount paid.

Otherwise, you can buy a very inexpensive receipt book with carbon paper inside from a newsagent or stationery shop.

i just use a carbonated receipt book. Easy peasy and if your computer system should ever fail you have a paper trail as back up.

Thanks everyone !
That’s fab advice

Shedul has a receipt facility. When you check out the client, before you complete the transaction it gives you the option to email the receipt to the client.

Brilliant ! I’m still discovering shedul so thanks for that
