Set up advice

Hi there,

I'm thinking about setting up my own salon and wondering if anyone could advise me on good places to get deals on furniture and fittings etc? Also if you could share any helpful hints or tips that may help me on my journey, I'd be most grateful.

If on a budget, I know it's nasty to say but hairdressers who didn't make it are selling everything from their salons on eBay, I pop on now and again to see what people have lol. Otherwise go online and google salon furniture, print off images of items u like and ask a woodworker to recreate the units. I seen a styling unit unwanted at £2000 a piece. I knew a old NBC set designer who showed me how to do it for £200, a nice price difference, and had improvements like picture lights over the top for more light xoxo

Thanks for your response. I never thought about ebay and good thinking on the replicas, I wouldn't have thought about that. What's your thoughts on flooring?
