Hi ladies ! Looking for some opinions please .. I'm looking into getting gel polish for my clients but there's so many brands to choose from my brain in frazzled !

Shellac, gelish, gellux, cuccio veneer .. The list goes on lol! Can people give me some insight please ! Thank you xx

It's really what you prefer.
Shellac is a hybrid which means no buffing but also less wear time. It's also not good on thin weak brittle nails.
Gelish is a gel polish with which you have to buff but it lasts longer and it's better for weak nails.
Both products are wonderful for what they are meant though and I recommend them both.
Can't advice on cuccio veneer or gellux but I imagine they are similar

It's really a matter of price, availability, color preferance etc. You'd better browse through their colour selection and then check if - for you - is value for money or if you think they are expensive.
I guess you'll try a few brands at first before deciding which one to go with. Most of us here did.

You will get different opinions from different users as we are all enthusiastic about the brands we use.
Shellac and gel polish are different, longevity and removal are both different.
I use Cuccio veneers and love them. I really stressed about investing in a brand and I'm glad I chose Cuccio. They are so pigmented that lots give full coverage in one coat. Thin and easy to work with. Colours are fab but shellac and others will all have their plus points.
Do lots of research

You are so right! There are dozens of excellent brands out there and it can be confusing to choose. Shellac, Gelish and Cuccio are great brands, but I'd add OPI, LeChat, and IBD to your list for consideration; I'm sure others could add more. In your case where you already have an established business and clients, I would start with what you already have. Do you already use a brand that you are happy with? Do you have a relationship with a vendor or supplier? Have your clients expressed an interest in a brand? Do you want the pull of a major brand like Shellac, OPI, or Gelish or are you comfortable with a lesser known brand? What about marketing, customer support and training? It's hard to beat CND or OPI for that. Do you want associated products like scrubs and soaks and creams? Do you need a product that is hypoallergenic? Do you want to only have one gel polish brand?

There's no one correct choice or best polish for everyone. It depends on your clients' and your business' needs. I've worked with dozens of brands and it just got crazy with all the lamps, and base coats, and stuff, so I have narrowed mine down to OPI, LeChat, and Cuccio. But I still think very highly of Shellac (hypoallergenic) and IBD (great price point) and Artistic Colour Gloss (amazing colors). I did not like Orly or Gel II (difficult removals), Essie (streaky, inconsistent color), or Gelish (poor quality control on color and formula).

I prefer gel polishes over hybrids. I use artistic colour gloss and find it fantastic- long wear, easy removal, easy to apply and great colour selection.
Gelish is also lovely.
Personally I'd avoid Gellux, I sold all mine. It was tough to remove and needed a very long soak off time plus it shrank a lot.

Shellac is great for removal. Cuccio Veneer has to be filed and soak longer, but then comes off really well. Cuccio also have got great offers all the time and I like using their remover caps, lotions, fizz tablets, oils, etc. Another great and cost effective alternative to Shellac is Ink London. My advice would be to get a few sample polishes and try them on yourself and friends and assess what works best for you.

Thanks for replying ladies ! Great help ! [emoji4][emoji4]x
