I can do both buy which one lasts longer, looks better and is easiest- shellac toes or gel toes??

Either will last week's and weeks and weeks. But so will polish.

The Vinylux polish I use on toes is still on perfectly when they come back 6-8 weeks later for a re-paint. Just re-growth visible.
I only tend to do shellac on toes when they want glitter or nail art. Can't see the point of gel on toes otherwise apart from the instantly dry advantage.
If you use polish the client can take it off themselves too.

I love gel polish and hard gel on my toes personally. On my two pinky toes, the nail splits all the way down to the cuticle. I think it's genetic as a lot of girls in my family have the same problem. The hard gel keeps the split together and creates a really nice, smooth surface. I also like gel polish on toes because nothing beats the shine! I always mess up my toes before I'm out the door with regular polish. :)
