I totally agree with the girls ,you have to really want to do this and push yourself to finish the course. I'm 41 and just finished two and half years of Beauty & Holistics course at college and still going for more, I'm re-training in nail enhancements in September. I know what it is like at times doing the case studies ,the homework and getting them in on time, the on-going training and finding willing clients and the exams it can be hard and exhausting.
As for Geeg being rude..i didn't see anything in her reply that indicated that she was speaking out of turn ..she asked if you want it enough, it is a question, and without her advice and support most of us wouldn't have qualified and further continue our training.
I knew i really wanted a change in career and thats what kept me going. The sheer determination and the drive to succeed...yes there was once upon a time i did want to just "throw in the towel" ..but i didn't ....mind you i have the support of a lovely husband to give me that little extra push.
you know in yourself if this is what you really want to do, when you aren't going through a rough patch with it, which all of us have encountered , you'll find that you do enjoy it and won't give up.
As Annabel08 has said ,look at the situation as a test that if you do get through this and come out thinking ...yes it was hard, yes it was exhausting and yes it did test you,you will find at the end of the day still feel really strong and passionate about doing your new found skills as a living , just think how good and proud you will feel about your achievements at the end of it all and have a really good cry for joy.
If you realize maybe this isn't what you want ,after you get through it , then at least you can say you gave it your best shot, you worked and tried your hardest and you didn't give it up.
It isn't until you do these things you will never know if it was the right decision or thing to do for you or not. No one can make that decision for you...that's up to you have to make your mind up.
Having no models and your deadlines coming up, I would talk to your tutor or someone in charge of your course, they are the people that can really help you out, that's what they are there for..they are not going to bite you..don't be afraid to ask. if you explain things to your tutors they will understand and I'm sure they will be able to sort something out for you, if you don't ask you won't get,i had a lot of support from all 3 of my tutors when i was struggling in level 2 for a bit ,but i got through it with a smile. There was a few girls in my course that couldn't get models,i helped them out by bringing in a few relatives or if they couldn't get anyone, the tutor arranged another day that was suitable for them, which gave them time to go round the campus and find a willing model,it's that easy...so there is always a way,i'm sure there are many girls and guys out there that are willing and will jump at the thought of having a bit of a pamper and step in to help you out.
I really do hope everything works out for you and i wish you the very best of luck..just by reading the other girls replies ..they are giving you some food for thought and much needed encouragement because they see like i do...you have potential and you can do it
If you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it, you can become it.
