It's nice to work with. I use 3 thin coats (as I do with every colour) but I reckon you could get enough coverage with 2 coats. I just always do 3 for piece of mind lol.

I'm not sure about Shellac as I've never used it. It's a lovely colour though and easy to apply. Needed 3 coats xx
