Am I correct in saying that you do not skin test when you r doing a scalp bleach

Correct, but you should skin test if you are using a toner.

Bleach skin tests will be useless as it is basically an irritant anyway and dosent contain ppd (what we are testing for sensitivity of) if you are using a toner on top or a toning shampoo it's best practice to do a test. Personally I just use a 1.0 with 6% for skin tests as its got the highest concentration of ppd, so if they have a slight allergy it will show up with that.
I have known people to test twice at te same time, one dab of 1.0 and a dab of the colour the client will be having which I think is a gd idea xoxo

Thanks, thought this was the case. Best to skin test either way invade toner required!!

Is it rumour that people's allergies change every seven years and that some people may all of a sudden develop allergies to hair tint. What about certain dies that require you to use 30 vol peroxide as obvious irritating to skin because of the higher percentage of peroxide.

High strength peroxide won't make a really bad irritant, it is bareable for 24 hours. X
