I am totally new to nail sculpting and to be honest have only scene it done once and that was geeg on my client doing a custom blend, (i think that is whats its called) I have watched both dvd and i no both are by very good tech one of which is a creative master/teacher. Geeg when doing my client seamed to literally apply the white in sec and perform a perfect smile, my client were shocked at the results so all i can say is geeg really nows what she is doing, and if she can teach me nails she is one in a million and so are her techniquesxxxxx

Lynberry, i am sorry hun, but can u please refrain from commenting in this way. Geeg is an amazing proffesional and highly sort after and amazing artist, i think your comments are uncalled for and totally unprofessional and completly out of order. This is a training forum were we come to learn, and trainers like geeg with such experience and a kind heart to share her amazing skills are hard to come by. Oh my god... that CND video is fantastic!!! I will certainly feel more confident next time I do a set of nails....it was just a shame she didnt do zone 3 in that because I think thats what I struggle with too!! Excellent video :green: xx

Gigi, if you going to pick at videos them almost every single videos youtube or not should end up in the trash can. All the education video look as perfect and as clean as they are because of hundred of shot, and careful editing.

I'm only going to comment on this point because there is a CND video featuring Roxanne Valinotti (so sorry if I spelled that wrong Roxanne) in the same collection on Youtube and having watched this amazingly talented lady at The Event in October do what she does over and over I can say that video could have been filmed there and then. No editing to get that result first time and every time she picked up her brush to demo a technique or point.

In these videos if I'm not mistaken you have claim that it your work.

Watch closely as you can see the artist have a big glob on the sidewall and was all over the the finger with her brush to clean it, further more you can also see a big glob of acrylic on her left thumb. On the second video you can see that she is bushing all over her fingers as she applying acrylic to the form.

I have read such a pile of 'mierda' (aka crap) on here today, from threads that 'were' long since buried to the vaults of the Salon Geek free information centre.

WTF is it with everyone pointing the finger at one sole poster who gives this site more of her time/hours/days free of charge to help and advise technicians who require/need help than any other member?

WTF is it with people slating one of our industry 'greats' (irrespective of which country you currently reside in) on the World Wide Web and more than likely sitting back with a smug expression on their faces after they've not only made themselves look stupid but made us seem like a bunch of catty ******* (irrespective of which sex we are)?!

For the sake of our industry, which is known to be a bitchy one at the best of times, do yourselves a favour/favor and have some decorum before you come on here and 'gob off' the way you have been lately.

I feel like making this a thread, in fact, wait, I might just do that, and draw attention to it the same way the 'insulters' have tried to draw attention to themselves in the godforsaken way they have lately.

I am totally beside myself with shame that 'some' people who are part of the same industry as me have no qualms, nor do they seem to care that all they're doing is keeping the opinion of the general public (who read this site and are also our clientèle) so low where our profession is concerned.

Get a grip and read things that 'are there' instead of reading into posts things that are in your own minds only.

Sandi, I think you should make this a thread, the past few days on here have been nothing short of ridiculous.

We are all in the same industry, all wanting the same thing, surely, I for one just don't get it. :irked:

Truth be told Joseph, its because most only come around after googling themselves or being told they are being discussed on the site. They generally bail once the topic moves on from them or it gets a bit too hot in the kitchen.

Anyhoo, not sure why this old thread was bumped for this hoohaw. But I suppose its time to put the pad lock on this one to. Seems there are a few people with too much time on their hands and too much negative emotion pent up.

I am not specifically pointing fingers here, but why some people can't just have an intelligent, respectful debate with each another is far beyond me. Instead, some seem to be hell bent for leather on trying to come off as total twits for the search engines and the global audience that will continue to read your words for years to come. only 6.000 people per day. That is who your are posting to.
