Right ladies I need some shoe advice.. Since minkus and I have got the same dress I'm going for option two, the strapless black dress. Just one problem, the shoes I want to wear are a pain in the a** but I love them!!
They are quite high gold strapless but with a back. The problem been, everytime I work forward my feet slip out!! any ideas how I can fix this?

What size shoe are you? I have a pair of silver shoes that I wear with that dress but I have big feet lol, so if you to have big feet your more than welcome

Wear them into the evening 'do', then take them off... problem solved :green:

I won't be wearing my shoes ALL NIGHT, no way!!! My footsies won't be able to take the strain of heels all night, once us mods have given out the Geek Of The Year award my feet will be shoe free :lol:
 
sounds like a plan. I was thinking wheels like the kids have on there shoes.
I will be the one with the beautifull shoes, slidding in to the room like a nutter!

Since I broke my big toe in January I struggle with heels so I had to buy shoes which were a tad big and I have bought the heel grips - they might help.
 
I'm actually quite relieved if I can take mine off and not be the only one! Just need to remember spare tights/holdups in case I hole them!
 
I'm bringing 5 pairs of sheer black tights if anyone needs spares..........

.........providing I don't ladder the 4th pair I put on LMAO

I brought 2 pairs of shoes....1 gold, glitzy, peep toe, slingback...HIGH.....(i walk like a baby dear in heals) the other are more of a strappy sandal and a mid heal...safe, comfortable and still in gold to match my dress.....and as my dress is sooo long you cant really see my shoes anyway so i am going for the safe option.

What are the men wearing?!?! Are there any words from the 'Other Half's'?!

I'm guessing I'm ok coming in a black dress?! I haven't actually had time to think about it yet!! It's just strappy and black from Ted Baker - I have no photos or info about it!
 
I am sure it said that EVERYONE should be in a dress or sparkly top.....so maybe something pink would suit him....PMSL...:lol:

I am sure trousers and shirt would be fine....(with sparkly shoes...:lol:)

Well unless he has changed his mind but not told me I think my other half is still planning on wearing his kilt! Its the only 'suit' he has :lol: I do think he's hoping who ever said theirs would be in a kilt, that he will be :lol:

Double sided sticky tape works a treat hun ... until you take them off & men look at you like a nutter :lol:

I actually bought mine of the internet but any big shoe shop should have them - Brantano for example if you have one near.

My hubby is wearing a suit (sounds old fashioned but it's not!).

He was going to wear trouser's & shirt bought he said he wants to wear his suit now.

I have told my boyfriend, he is wearing black pants, a nice shirt and some shoes !!! end of !
This is MY sparkly dress up day...not his ! lol


I was happy to get weighed last night and see I have only gained 2lb since trying my dresses on., so they will still fit...
I am going up in a min to try them both on and see what the kids say,:eek: its a bit scary
