Whilst this is extremely concerning that Tasha and her friend have received poor training what is most worrying is that someone is using the hard earned reputation of Tantrick training

I totally agree. My friend was having her nails done recently and the owner of the salon was bragging about how they are going to be doing mens waxing and their trainer was 'the lady that trained Kim Lawless'. Well I never had a trainer as I developed my own techniques. Lying sods!

Out of interest, why didn't you go through Tantrick to train with them? Surely that would have been easier. xxx

Tasha - this sounds like the very same place that offers training in CND and then tells everyone who walks through the door 'actually your learning with X, Y & Z instead'.... I for one know how many of these so called customers are now very unhappy over this misrepresentation - thank goodness we have Fiona, Fee and Heather to help.

If the training was as bad as you say - DEMAND your money back and take Collin up on his offer... at least Collin and team will stand by you and make sure you get the best education without lying to get you through the door!!

As someone who is tantrick trained i can highly recommend the product and the training, i learnt everything i needed to know and came away feeling very satisfied. Take colin up on his very kind generous offer i can personally say it will be worth it. I THINK WE SHOULD RE NAME COLIN "KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOUR"!

Oh dear Tasha it is most disappointing to hear of the problems you have had with your training...quiet why you were told it was a tantrick course under the disguise of another brand completely is beyond my comprehension.

Clearly you are not satisfied with the situation and the training you have received and in order to help you I am willing to organise proper Tantrick training for the both of you with my compliments.

PM me your contact details and I will happily arrange to get you booked in for "the real thing"and lets help you get your business moving

Hoping this is of some help to you in this somewhat strange situation

I have only been spray tanning since last November and have trained with tantrick and cannot fault it in any way. I researched into all the different companys (there are so many and it can get so confussing) but it was tantrick that was always came highly recommended by eveyone on here.
Tantrick is an amazing company and I have never come across customer service like it. I highly recommend them!! The products are great and they have a great line of new retail items to earn you more money!!

When considering training weather it be nails, hair, spray tanning, waxing or whatever it is it is the initial investment made in training that will undoubtably pay dividends in the longer term for you and your business.

Trained properly and with ongoing support will enable you to rise above the crowd ,enable you to deal with problems you encounter far better and greatly assist in you gaining repeat customers and word of mouth spreading.

The consumer is no fool and as they are a paying customer they are fully entitled to expect a high standard of treatment outcome and to be treated by a professional who conducts him/herself accordingly throughout the treatment itself.

It is those brands that invest considerable sums of money ,time and are willing to pass on their knowledge and experience in offering the best training there is that tend to suffer in the short term from companies that offer shoddy workmanship..... however not unlike therapists making the same investment when taking on a new procedure or are simply setting off into the industry....they to will in the longer term be the winners:hug:

Thanks alot everyone... You have all been soo helpful..

Well today i eventully recieved a fone call from the unamed trainer..
and i was told under no cicumstances would i recieve a refund.. she said that if i wasnt happy that it was couture then i should have said so, and she will train me using tantrick for free.. which it wouldnt be because i still paid the 69.00 for the shawdy course anyways.. if her training the first time would be the same the second time then it would be a waste or time and petrol money again. She then told me that she had nothing more to say and hung the fone up. So unprofessional if you ask me!!!
Tashaa x

I totally agree Collin and I suspect Couture would feel the same if someone was using their training material and passing it off as couture training.

Tasha, can I suggest that while I understand you cannot name the trainer here, you pass the details to both Collin (tantrick) and Couture as it sounds like this 'trainer' is claiming to be a trainer when they are not and simply using the produce/training manuals given.

:):lol::lol::lol: Sorry Tasha I am not laughing at you at all - I want to say I am astounded by how you have been treated, but of course, I am not! I am laughing because I know who you went to (and for anyone reading... Tash hasn't mentioned names to me at all - I have simply read her post) and the reaction given to Tash is typical!! Imagine !! What kind of people treat their customers like that?? No one wonder the west coast of Scotland is hunting down Fiona and Fee in droves!!!

There is of course Trading Standards... but I think you have learnt a lot from this experience... as have we all !! Good luck with Collin and the team! :!:

Gosh that does sound terrible but i myself have used couture tan for a number of years now and by far it's the best tanning product i have ever used. My customers have never been happier and i receive nothing but the best customer service from couture themselves. They are always too happy to help. To me, it sounds like this person is not an official couture trainer as something like this would never happen with the people i have met through my training.

I trained over at the manchester academy and the staff were always so helpful, whilst i was there they also offered free demos of new products they have taken on board. The courses i have completed there have always been really enjoyable, not just to me but all the other girls who completed their training at the same time. It's always great fun and far better than any of the training i have received elsewhere. This person sounds like she should not be a trainer for any product so don't let it put you off x

Hi me and a friend had the same problem but ours was with Tantrick.
We was so dissapointed and we paid £100 each we went to the trainers house and was sat in front of a lap top to read from it whilst she dealt with her children.
I thought a good trainer would know there stuff with out the need to sit us in front of a computer.
We was told that we would be spraying a model each but when her models turned up the trainer sprayed the 1st one as her children were waiting in the car so me and my friend sprayed the 2nd model between us half a body each.LOL!
We then sat waiting whilst she had a conversation with the 2nd model also a friend regarding there flirties bookings etc.
It was so bad we walked out of there dissapointed and not very confident all she wanted is her money and for us to order a kit from her.
We was told the certificate would be sent within 3 days were both still waiting and this was in January.
When I rang her she told me to F--K O-f and stop pestering her about these f-----g certificates. Never been spoken to like this im my life.
What a shame because I only went with there training as i had heard such raving reviews on this site.
Well good luck and dont give up x

I am absolutely gob smacked that you have been treated this way and find it very hard to believe that this woman could really be an accredited tantrix trainer.
I am not a spray tanner (yet) but I have spoken to Collin and other tantrix people on here and have always found them to be friendly, well informed and totally professional.
Please please will you pm collin the details of the person you and your friend trained with, if this woman really is a rep for his company I know he will want to have a long talk with her and if she isn't then she is bringing his company into disrepute and is breaking the law by saying she is representing tantrix and I am sure he will want to take steps to stop her.
People like her need to be stoped when ever we find them, other wise it wont be long before we have no one left to give us good training and products and where will that leave us?

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience with your training, you must be so disappointed!

I am an educator for Couture Tan also, the people I have had the pleasure of working with in Couture Tan are extremely well versed in their product knowledge and the training. Couture Tan is a fantastic tanning product, I feel that it is a shame that you have potentially been put off by your experience.

If you phone Couture's HQ 01908588027, then they will be able to speak to you and help you.

Obviously if there are rouge educators out there, then this needs to be stopped, as it will effect EVERYONE in the industry.

I do hope you get this problem resolved quickly.

How can these places do that, are they CND educators and changed to different products or people who have never been CND educators and tried to set up as CND educators? (If you follow my question)

take up the offer of proper training hun , you wont be dissapointed, its disgusting the way you have been treated, and neither tantrick or couture would endorse anyone that does this sort of thing , as it could potenially taint their well deserved names !
hope you get on better hun and hopefully you will be a happy spray tanner xxxx

Hi Kellie,
sorry to hear your dissatisfaction however I recall your case as if it were only yesterday...the trainer did in fact contact me at the time with something of a different story

It would not be appropriate to outline these discussions on an open forum:hug:

The reason however that your certificate was ..well erm delayed ...was nothing other than the fact that the case had to be referred to us here at Ranch Relaxo and a full assessment of the situation had to be made.

Fortunately..or unfortunately in this case...it is our policy not to automatically "pass and acredit" theropist unless they meet the minimum criteria...in this case we did have to go through a secondary due diligence process which does take time.

It is through this culture that we ensure certificates that are issued are done so against the right level of competence and therefore in the longer term a Tantrick certificate of competence has a "value of achievement" not only to the theropist but also the industry as a whole.

I sincerely hope that now you have gained certification that your business is doing well

Rest assured measure are now in place to prevent this rather unusual situation from occurring in the future.
Rest assured there is no issue between either Tantrick and Couture as we see this as an issue out of the control of Couture.

The last rest assured....both Tantrick and Couture both offer excellent training

Hi Colin
I also remember it like yesterday.
Im sure also that you heard a different story. I have saved the rude email I received from the trainer. and will never forget the way I was spoke to on the phone.
I just felt that it was a waste of £100 and no certificate to show at the end of it I recall she said it was late because of the snow but hey were still waiting.
I just hope no one else receives the same treatment. put in front of a laptop to read from where she mentioned that the cd needed up dating , pushed to buy the kit, waiting around while she speaks to her friend. sorts her children out, promises she sent certificate and when you contact her she is rude. Its not very professional.
It is a shame because the lotion is great, but the training experience we receive just leaves a bad taste. But hope it was just a one off.

Hi there Dear,

Sorry to hear about youe bad experience, I would go to trading standards make sure they dont rob you or anyone else again.

If you mix up a little bit of facial hair bleach, fairly strong and brush or apply it to the orange hands and fett (only the palms and soles, not the soft skin)
leave for about 10 minutes and wash off, then MOIOSTURISE!!!!

If youhave streaky bits on your face and body, get hold of a moisturiser which includes AHA, it's strips away spray tan ! and of course last but not least exfoliate. You can make your own up with a bit of shower gel and salt or sugar (or both) mixed together.

Let me know how you get on.

Hope all goes well

Kind regards
Nikki

PS. Heres an idea, if they have a facebook site, as many businessed now do, put some pictures of your diaster on it as well as a write up on your experiences
