Hi All,
I hope I am posting in the right section!
I am doing an eyelash extension course and a lash lift course very soon with the aim to eventually specialise also in brows and with a view to also train in SPMU once I have more experience in the 'brow' sector. I am a trained make-up artist but as much as I enjoy it I don't think it is very profitable.
My question is.. what is the best way to start out? I currently work full time and I can't just drop this to start my career change due to finances. At the same time I think it will be too much to work full time and to try and start my own business.
I was thinking of dropping to part time and then also renting a room part time for my beauty work so I still have a definite income from the part time employment as I would expect just starting out in the beauty side I won't be earning much till I get a good client base.
Has anyone had a similar experience going from full time employed work to starting out by yourself? Any advice would be grateful.
Thank you in advance
