Steiner interview nail tech

Hi everyone!
I have a Steiner interview next week and I was feeling totally prepared until I suddenly realised they have said I will have to do French finish... But they never specified whether this was in the acrylic or with polish afterwards? Has anyone had a nail technician interview with them who can give me some advice?

Hello, i know this post was from last year! but i was just wondering how your experience as a nail technician with steiner was and what the interview entailed as i am also unsure about the question you asked above? I also cant find any information about wages i now it is a private subject but if you could give me a little insight with commission percentages etc please.

Hi Natalie,

I'm not going to lie I had a bad experience, don't get me wrong there were good points and I made lots of friends but unfortunately a lot of what Steiner told me was a lie, including wages.
I was told at interview that we got a minimum wage of $800 a month but when you board and you get your wage addendum it includes tips, when I first boarded we had no customers in hence no tips so we only got $12 a day for a 14 hour working day.
8 of us have left my ship in total but obviously some ships are better than others which the other girls admitted (most had done previous contracts) I was just put on a bad ship.
The interview isn't that bad, they're low of staff so accept a lot of people. They will get you to do a full set off acrylics with red polish on one hand and French polish on the other, you'll have an hour and 15 to do this and they will check your work after. You find out at the interview whether you got the job or not.
