Sue from At your finger tips does some fabby powders, with glitters in, very small pots so no waste of the colours you wouldnt use any other time of the year. very reasonably priced too. I use them with NSI monomer without a problem.

I can really reccommend the stripers from NSI, they do a vast range of colours and glitters. The brushes are lovely to work with.

Glitter tips are very popular at Christmas time, I did alot of Holly with Rhinestone berries and Christmas pud's they looked cute!
The Creative glitter enamels were very popular aswell, in Silver, pink and gold!

I also did a couple of snow domes on thumbs, basically a snowman or similar painted onto the nail (small) and then a googley eye filled with water and sealed onto the nail with L&P, I added glitter to the water aswell. They looked cool and lasted surprisingly well!

Also Scentsations Vanilla shimmer hand lotion to finish a treatment, gives the client a bit of bling on their skin!

Hi,

If anyone's interested there are some new nail art wheels sets with crystals etc.
Nail Wheels

There will be a new Cristmas one listed soon.

Elaine:)

check out my enviable collection of 80 or so glitters when you come over to me:cool:

even the older ladies have a little something at christmas.
so for them i have some very subtle things available. a good one is nsi opal shimmer powder mixed in with their usual soft white.

also i think the nsi glitter stripers are the best ive had in terms of the density of glitter in them and the lifespan of the product too.

I think this can be tricky - it depends on what your general clientelle are like and their age etc. My area I find are not very Nail arty at all and I have tried loads of various displays etc!

But at the end I only have 2 things on my xmas list - Glitter acrylic & rhinestones!

1 - Nail Graphix - Diamonds in the Rough over Creatives white performance tips - This is the best! My clients go mad for this at christmas & for their holidays (or when they're feeling blue ) Super Easy to do, and never bulky! (I have a pic of them in my album)
I have a few other colours but find they are not used so much by my clients (only by me mainly ) but you could go for a bling Red, Baby Pink, Lilac or Bright Blue!

2 - Normal rhinestones or - my fave - Jam Nail Stickers from DSFM.uk.com - they are great and the site guys are really nice too! My ladies end up having these across their p&ws regularly!

Hope this helps! x

p.s. 3 - I always buy creatives xmas mini tubs for clients as a free gift! Cute, professional & keeps everyone happy! :) (not a whole tub each lol!)

Hi all,

This will be my first Christmas as a nail tech as well and I am so excited...

I bought the black powder the other week there to try for Christmas time...

Does anyone know if Creative bring out any Christmas things and roughly when?

Jo x

They are bound to be at GMex, VAT free

Lol - Check you out.... trying to stop me wasting my money!!

This thread is from last year, so you don't need to worry about me (This Time)
Besides I'm upto my eyes in glitter etc!

If you're a Bio Sculpture user, you can't go wrong with Moulin Rouge (63), the most gorgeous glitter red. It almost has a 3d effect it is so intense.
