I would change banks based on solely how they handled this.
 
funnily enough natwest have been alright so far... i was with lloyds and would ever go back.. :rolleyes:... i dont rate halifax at all.. ive never banked with barclays so i will have a look at their business services...

its wrong that i had to all the way down there and hijack the sofa for 2 hours.. before they sorted it..

i wouldnt do anything over the phone again for a while now.. as this has put me off...

I'm surprised the bank were so slow and awkward about it. Especially as I'm sure they will be able to claim back the overpayment from your ex-employee... read this; Theft (Amendment) Act 1996 (c. 62)

im surprised they said they wernt going to pursue her for it as it was their mistake.. i bet if it was me they would

i think its a case of them not being bothered to sort it out quickly.. as its not their problem or money
