Thinking of selling

From what I've looked at, businesses seem to retail at between 2 and 3x net profit so if the net profit (what you're left with after everything has been paid) is £20k per annum, the business will be for sale at between £40-60k, specific price dependent on several different factors.

The thing about selling is.....how many in business actually bought in.

99% of us started off in a small way and gradually built up our equipment/stock/clients etc.

There are very few people walking around with £30-£50k in their pocket
