Train in acrylic or gel polish?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering what would be the best service to train in first for more clients? Do you find most/majority of your clients come for gel polish or acrylic?

As the courses are expensive I would rather perfect skills in just one and build up from there once I have a few clients and more money.

Have you already done a manicure course? If not, this is usually one of the prerequisites for doing a gel polish or extension course.

It's included in the course I was just wondering wether gel polish is enough to start a business and eventually do acrylic or is it very popular that will need to be done quickly after for more clients ?

Ah nice! I don't offer extensions at the moment as I'm only trained in manicure and gel polish, and I'm looking to enroll on one in autumn after all the holidays, and so far none of my clients have asked for it either, but it kind of depends on what kind of treatments are popular in your are, what type of client you are looking to attract, if you already have a bit of a clientele to start you off with.
