It looks like a lot of glitter on the towel but is a lot less than when I used to scoop it out of a jar or try to sprinkle it from the jar.I never got the dipping thing-for one the clients tend to hit the jar or some thing like that and then if gel gets in the glitter it makes a mess.If you are careful to use a clean paper I suppose you could reuse it but I don't because of possible contamination to the next client, there's bound to be dust and lint and whatever on even a clean towel and it is really not so much waste with the poofers and you get such an even layer that it turns out so smooth and beautiful this way.In the states the cross contamination thing is huge and the licensing boards are pretty strict about not using anything that touched anothers nails or skin unless you can disinfect or clean it some way.

I put a large bead of thin clear gel on a form and add the glitter to this and mix before application of tips that way there are no air bubbles (not that I get them) I make a good consistency thin enough to not bulk out yet thick enough to not bleed into zone 2. I dont keep glitter gels unless I find I am making the same batch over and over as it takes 2 mins to make it in the first place. If I'm doing a crazy mix of glitter than yeah I may put it into a lil pot but really clients dont want the same mixes.

I was just shown a fab trick by Greg Salo from Young Nails. He drilled 3 holes in a glitter jar lid and just sprinkeled the glitter on the nail. You can do a lovely fade this way as well. And if you have all glitters from the same collection then you just need one lid with holes in it. Just change the glitter jar:lol:.

brush on some resin to tip, dip or sprinkle on glitter, shake of access, Apply to fingers, and go with what ever system rock you boat. ;)
