In a word NO. You have no idea what they are or where they have come from. As trained professionals we take pride in using professional only products and pay the appropriate price for them.

Why try and cut corners, when you have absolutely no idea what you're buying?

Allergic reactions, insurance implications and lack of customer service all spring to mind.

There are so many authorised places to purchase good quality products, where you don't have to ask "are they any good?" that I'm always confused when people buy from eBay. Total waste of time and money in my opinion.

When some NVQ tutors are recommending to their students to do so, rather than instilling the value and professionalism of authentic products I can see why it happens. I am hoping this is the exception rather than the norm!

I find it depressingly sad if our industry educators are recommending eBay. Fortunately it was one of my level 2 tutors who pointed me towards CND. I can honestly say I wouldn't have the business I do without her.

It was my niece doing her lever 3 who told me about all the "cheap ebay stuff" her tutor had told them about, I was really shocked. Surely teach to the highest standards and after that it's up to the individual.

Yeasr ago when I use to be on this site I remember Gigi saying "cream always rises to the top" have stuck by it and it's true!

Best Advice would be to get some training.

I replied to your other post on 'self teaching'
Training will teach you all
You need to know about prep, application, troubleshooting & which products are used for what and where to purchase them :)

Thanks for your replies ! Im not trying to 'cut corners ' i was just asking about them.
I did buy ' legit' products and above pic is what i created. Ive done another set this evening and she is very happy. Id just like feedback

What feedback are you looking for? On ASP? On eBay? or on your pics?
