Hi guys, have been asked to do a client hair for her wedding. I haven't done any upstyles in over 20 years but feel I'd love to give it a go. She's not even sure if she wants it up or down. Hair is to her shoulders with long layers that kick out. Hair is v straight, long side fringe. I'm not sure how to approach this. Will try it out beforehand. Shat wud u do? Ghd curls and have a bit of a play with it? Her daughter wants victory rolls so that should be fun.
Can anyone give me any tips as I'd love to do it but have tempted to use the usual line of sorry I only do colours and cuts.
Thanks so much in advance x

Im the total opposite i do Hair and makeup but use the line I dont do cuts and colours even though im trained in it i dont like it lol.
Umm i would say if they all wanna stick to vintage styles then doing hot rollers and creating smooth sleek waves can look very elegant. and be in period keeping witht he victory rolls. and the side fringe sweeping and blending in with the rest of waves would look nice.
umm, or idea for hair up you could do a lovely big roll around the nape of the neck at the back with the side parting and sweeping fringe?
HTH! x

By vintage do they mean Jane Austin era ? Or Dallas era?

Have a look at Lilith moon on you tube for easy ideas, don't panic you will be fine. You tube is amazing x

I only have velcro rollers, would they do the same thing as heated ones?

Bluerinse, if it was Dallas vintage I'd be well fit for those:eek:
