Morning everyone I've been using my Vinylux as directed with no base coat, but I'm having trouble with staining. I had a lady with Aqua-intance on for 10 days and the staining was terrible! The problem is, I know if I use a base coat that I won't get the wear time. I'm not using that colour again until i find a solution. Any advice would be great x

Try putting a coat of one of the sheer colours on first (negligee, beau etc) & see if thst helps. It wont effect the wear time or removal but might act as a barrier xx

I've been using Vinylux since it was introduced and have had no problems at all until about 6 months ago and now one client gets staining from Rubble, it's odd because Rubble is one of the original colours so it's not like the formula could have changed, and I've used Rubble on others with no issues. It just goes to show we are all different and different chemicals react differently on all of us.

I now use use coat of Negligee under it and we have no problems at all. It is frustrating as you don't know who will suffer and with what colours but I'm still confident in my products and continue to use them as I always have until I find a problem.

Yes I always hold for a few seconds before and wipe down. That's a great idea with using a lighter colour first, thanks allot ladies x

Have these clients previously worn a Enhancments product? Gel or L&P? Are their nails dehydrated? These can be reasons why Vinylux stains. If you apply Cuticle Away over the whole nail, leave for a minture then perform your PEP, ( remember to deactivate your cuticle away),when you rub over the nail plate with scrub fresh the staining should of disappeared. Remember to get your clients to use Solar Oil Twice a day.x
