I have a bride that has hair as long as her waist, it's fine but she has quite a lot of it. For the day she wants it just down and curly. I did a trial used TIGI maxed out and hard head hairspray. I set it on small ish rollers and then curled with the straighteners after half an hour it had dropped out ! Anyone have any better ideas?

Put volume mouse , dry it 100%, don't use roller, use ur a small curling tone, on thin sections, twist it on the curling tone and straight after while it's hot put a pin instead of rollers! It will do the job! Good luck!

Apply light weight heat protection like spray, or cream, blast off till almost dry, then blow dry each section whilst adding a little mousse, then once entire head is finished go back and curl :)

Thanks guys x

If she don't mind harder curls .. That will last all day, night and right through to the morning try fudge cement it's fab stuff I had a bride with very long almost waist length fine thin poker straight hair in the trial I didn't use the fudge and it all dropped after 2 hours so used this on the day, the. Ext morning the bride text to thank me and asked what I'd used as her curls were still in! X

I have had many Brides with this problem. i start by banning them from heated appliances or a few weeks before wedding.I get them to wash there hair night before, and before drying put pleanty of mousse in and dry it into hair. When i arrive i then put pleanty of mousse and heat protectiobn blowdry spray with a light hold also in to hair until hair is very damp and re blow dry. Then i put the top section or half head in medium heated rolleres so its not flat. while waiting for these to cool take small sections and tong pining then up in pin curls as u go and spritzing with spray. once i have done all the hair that is done i work my way up taking out the rolleres as i go tonging the rollered hair and continue pining them up. once finished i generally leave the bride like this for an hour or so while i do other peoples or the brides makeup when her hair is last thing to be finished i carely un pin the spraying as i go then pin any sections she wants up. although the rollere in top section wont necesary curl it sould give a nice lift to ensure its not flat.
Gd luck im sure ull be fine!

I like to use wella blowdry spray, dry the hair thoroughly. I then start at the nape of the neck spraying each section prior to curling with a good strong hair spray. I find that root tonging is the method. I gradually work through the hair. It takes time, but the hair does stay in x

Set it on rollers, when it's fully dry leave it all in. Use ur blow drier on the individual curls, while still hot take the roller out, and use the flat irons to curl it, really over twist the curls so the hair has been wrapped once while you pull it down.
If that's not enough, lightly spray the hair with hairspray section by section as you get to the flat iron part, once curled barrel curl them back up and clip to the head to let them cool, do this all over the head then give a really good spray with hairspray and pop under the hood or use te dryer without a nozzle on a low setting for 5, let cool. Then finish with a fine mist shine spray.

Take it all down and see how long it lasts, on the wedding day, leave it up in the barrel burls until the last minute so it lasts a bit longer.

Hope this helps, it's what I do to my cousins as hers is so heavy and thick it used to fall out in about a hour xoxo

I totally agree fudge cement, this is amazing, I use it loads, especially for wedding hair also spray a little to the roots and use back coming brush to back comb, it stays so well! Def worth the money!
