Hi for those who don't know , CPD is short for Continuing Professional Development
As fully trained hairdressers we now need a certain amount of these training hours to put down each year,
Ill have to look it up as Ive forgotten the exact amount of training hours needed.
but its not as much as you may think .

Any sort of good training can be put towards it like the training that
J Robinson has received from Wella in house trainers too ,

Its very important for Hairdressers , Assessors and Trainers to have this CPD.
A certain amount of CPD is now most definitely required by most employers and its great to have on your CV too . x

Thanks id love to read your tutorials ,if you need any help im quite good with colour combos

Im interested in this thread as I love colour, you mentioned Wella blondes, I am a mid brown prob a 5, have highlights but am totally dissatisfied with the last lot of highlights I had put in as they were a golden blonde and I have high colouring, I am now thinking of going all over blonde as I have a few grey hairs which peep through the top root area and I feel highlights are a waste of money for me, what is a good colour combination at the moment please

hiya
what do u mean by high colouring? sorry!
obviosuly id need to c ur hair really, bbut if u really want to go all over blonde, id have back to back slices of at least 2 diff blondes to make it look more natural.

Hi Teresac , just a suggestion before you decide to go blonde all over which will be very high maintenance.

As you have a few Grey hairs popping through now,
I think it would be nice if you had bleached highlights woven out all over in foils and then a base coat in about a level 6 or 7 put all over the rest of the hair,

this combination will cover the Grey in your hair and will add some nice cool blonde lights to your hair,

pick a base tone that will compliment your skin tone ,

you don't need to get your highlights done every time ,
just every now and again,

but do keep up the base tint applied to the roots only this way your
highlights will still shine through and the root tint will keep those grey hairs at bay
