Hi Sarah,

I have used Natrasun for sometime now, and I can mix all the colours, toffee, D&E and after dark. I have never sprayed anyone green before. Suggest you contact Steve at Glo studios who I am sure will sort your solution out.

Hey :)

Iv used naturasun in my salon for a while now. They offer nine different colours that are all mixable so no matter how dark or fair your clients are you can find them a fab tan.

The tan will only ever go green if you either leave the solution in an open bottle for a period of time, leave your spray in sunlight or stored in a warm room as opposed to somewhere cool. This is the same with all spray tans. IV tried a lot of brands but my clients seem to love naturasun.

Hope that helps :D xx

I really like su do and sun fx although I am going on a fake bake and st tropez spray tanning course.

as i said above. Clients going green is more about what THEY are doing wrong. As long as ur tan is in room temp or fridge u should be fine. FX and St tropez are great but in australia we are straying away from the Orange look, the tiniest overspray and u look like a pumpkin. good luck!

I would tend to agree whole heartedly....this problem is,generally speaking, more associated with a client or storage problem.

Most client related problems emanate from not washing off perfume and or jewelry residue before application of the spray tan.

Generally speaking in the industry more and more brands are going over to green based base colour guides as apposed to using the red spectrum.

Finally someone agrees with me! lolol

DHA is colourless. It makes no difference if it's green based or red based as this only applies to the guide colour. Once you wash the guide colour off you are then left with a tan that is determined by the quality of the DHA.
I get quite annoyed with companies who claim their tan is better because it's green or red based blah blah blah. Bronzers are put in to allow for a guide colour so that the therapist can see that it has been evenly applied. It is these bronzers that are green or red but the bronzers do not determine the outcome of your tan. The guide colour is washed off!
Good quality DHA is what you need and clients with no deodorants etc.....

The absolute best spray tan on the market is Naturasun, they have about 8 tans to choose from, different colours for all skin types /warm /cool / light /dark tec... - you can do colour mixing also.

They always have offers on tans to make more affordable. they also do a PAL scheme where they reward you in tan for the amount you spend if you hit target. (ask for richard, and say naomi recommended you! they also reward you!!!)

I have been with this company for over 4 years, we do 3 gallons every single week, and hardly ever have any complaints about tan, i have total faith in it...its the perfect tanning solution. trust me!

If my sums are right working on 25ml of solution per tan, that is over 500 tans a week or 71 tans a day working a seven day week??!!

LOL that's one serious amount of spray tans a week...even if twice that amount of solution is used or that it's U.S. gallons being consumed :lol::hug:

well its 10.5 litres, we get about 12 /14 tans out of 1 litre (2 layers per tan)- so i make that around 150 tans per week....and we open 7 days a week and work till 8 every night! :)

So based on 13 tans per litre = 76.92 mls per tan - even if you do double spray - that's an awfull lot of solution per person!

I use about 40/45mls per person & that's even double spraying. Granted, my second spray is a mist over, but still full mist over all the body.

I have never had a problem with my clients tans either & I use Tantrick.

Hey all..

i absolutly LOVE tan. im totally tan obsessed... but im finding.. that being a rather natural pale WHITE colour.. that i am.... when using big company names such as fake bake and st. tropez just make me look ridiculous. (espeshly in the winter!)

im also looking for a more of a natural golden tan.. one that fades well (unlike fake bake and st. tropez im forever exfoliating and scrubbing my skin to get that stuff off!! and always seem to find it really dries my skin out and makes it very flakey!)

i would definatly recommend Nautrasun.. it comes in all different shades to suit each individual clients skin colour.

also the tan would only normally go green if they have used product. such as deodrante prior to the treatment.

Good luck x

That's a nice business you have there well done.

You are however using quiet a lot more than you really do need to...try turning the output dial down a qtr turn every week until you get down to about 50ml max.

If you can achieve this then your cost of application nearly halves

granted tis prob 20 tans in a litre then, but we go through 3 gallons per week!

You might want to try Unreal which is great for all skin types even in the Winter. We've just been voted best spray tan by More Magazine achieving 9/10 beating St. Tropez amongst others.

I use EnvyTan products. My clients love them because they look so natural. The tan has a golden bronze look to it, which fits my tastes perfectly. Another positive thing about these products is that they are all natural and have no alcohol. They also have sampler kits on their site so that you can try it, before you buy in large quantities. If they are really pale then a 5% would be great for your client.
