What is this on client's nail?

I took my clients polish off last night And this is on the new nail growth Im not sure what it could be I no she had a spray tan the day before I did the gel polish so not sure if could be a stain

looks like dried blood imo. perhaps she cut herself.

no not damaged and it doesn't come off I looked at it closely under my lamp and I can't quite make out if it's a stain on top of the nail or the nail it's self but she said she had started new vitamin tablets but I was thinking if that was case other nails would be affected which there not x

if you zoom in on the top left I think I see more of the same coloured nail growing down just at the eponychium x

I would guess it's a bruise. Did she say if it just appeared or if it grew out with the nail? She wouldn't necessarily know when she damaged it as it could've been a while ago but only visible now as the nail grows out.
And I think you're right, if it was her vitamin tablets then surely there would be a bit of a pattern with her other nails too x

yh I bought bruise or maybe staining from spray tan yh it kind of grew out she thinks with the regrowth but i didn't see any sign of it when applying the colour I no she takes quite a lot of medications for pain relief and has type 2 diabetes medication but Evie with that I was thinking would affect all of the nail I just wanted to double check with the geeks haha x

Always good to get other opinions, that's what the geeks are for! Yeah I'd def go with bruise, to be honest if she's on lots of pain relief and has diabetes then she may not've even felt it when she gave her finger a bash! x
