Had a little play on my sisters nails last night - the brief was "Jessie J"!!

I've used literally everything I could get my hands on - glitter, crystals, additives, gold leaf, foils, animal print - so much fun!!

Couple from yesterday.

This is my nail biter for my ITEC folder. The gel looks a lot paler in the picture it's a nicer colour on her really.

I have an app on my phone called iwatermark. It's free for a basic version but if you want to use your logo like I do you will need to upgrade. It's only a few pounds but well worth it x

Doing some product work for a nail art store, they send me products and I have to come up with a design using them, photograph the set and send the photos for them to use online. Got sent these triangular studs this time.

Jet set and forever beauty. Very simple but love these colours together :)

Thank you Shannon :)

I just posted a long bloomin post quoting the reply to mine but deleted as dont want to cause any grief on here

Basicly the leaves are done in the same principle as the flowers but I prefere to do this on a tile rather than directly on a nail so I can guide my flower shape in colour.
Makes me chuckle that no one has said anything about the colours being mixed in the marbling of the flowers, some of that is very mixed too ;)

Either way I've been doing these flowers and leaves this way for a year using both shellac and regular varnish (obv not together) and this is what works for me.

It's probably a good job that I didn't see it, I had other geeks private message me to offer support to me about your response.

Luckily for me, I have been extremely busy and this is the first time I have been able to log on again since I posted.

I think it should be remembered that this site is to offer help and advise and if some "didn't get the memo" then there are better ways to voice the way you work.

Are you aware that some people are not so informed as you and that this site was created to help advance knowledge and to network with like minded people?

Yes we are all passionate about our craft, that is why emotions get in the way sometimes. If someone can not make an observation without a frosty reply, something is seriously wrong.

This is the main reason why a lot of newbie geeks just sit and observe and most of their first post start with "I'm a newbie, be gentle with me"

I thank the geeks that have messaged me, that was so very kind. I look forward to meeting those at The Event
