Hey i realise this is probably one of the most common things asked but i really need some advice.

I'm a complete novice, have been doing my own nails and friends nails for about 6 months and i absolutely love it. I'm looking to do some form of training but i'm completely lost in what the best route to take is?

I live in Edinburgh, very close to the fingertips centre and know how good they are meant to be. But If them, which course? And would anyone recommend any other courses in the Edinburgh/Glasgow area?

Also, funding? Anyone know anything at all?? haha

Sorry for the novel! And thanks in advance ladies!! :)

If you're completely new, I'd recommend starting out with a course that covers your manicure and/or pedicure, as this will cover your foundation and be your stepping stone into other education.
Have you looked at local colleges, as they usually offer a good range of nails and beauty courses?

Hey thanks for your reply!

I was looking at doing the CND Shellac Beginners course at £295 or the CND Gel Beginners at £695. Obviously theres a massive price difference between the two. I'm not sure if i should start of with the Shellac or just jump right in and do the bigger course?

I looked into college courses and most of them run for 12 weeks only doing one day a week. Is that going to drag or do you need the time in between to practice what you have learnt in your 3 hour lesson?

Far to many choices, i'm going round in circles here!! lmao

I think all of those options would be great, it depends on you and if you either want to do an intenser, shorter course, or if you'd prefer to only do it dusing the eveningsame. I think you'll havenjoy plenty of practise to do either way! :)

It's rly hard to pick, best is to do some research and see what would work for you.
