I don't get the problem.
Constructive criticism is just that. It isn't bitchy it's trying to help people.
Some people are happy to take good and bad comments without the bad criticism how can you get better?

If it is just models that some people are posting why post if you're not going to accept a slightly negative comment? You're not perfect at anything straight away, but practice makes perfect. Why keep practicing bad techniques? If someone can help you improve let them! It's you benefitting from free advice.

I think this thread is fab. Some good work, but if people can't handle a couple of comments wrote on an Internet forum how are they going to cope face to face with a fussy client?

I just don't comment, I spot bad cuts, wrong colour blends, nit enough hair used, sides are empty....I made the mistake of comment once...the OP posted feedback request, I misread and thought somebody else who posted a picture wanted feedback...which I gave just saying looked a little thin & subsequently
Told me she wasn't asking for feedback...made some excuse about clients hair being ver fine...& client was happy. Enough said...

I actually feel a lot of people jump on her to get instant access to supplier information without having done their own research, sample requests and are mostly one day course takers....again it shows in their work....when I read things like the client didn't want the extensions cut I am left speechless...cannot really comment further on statements like that. That said certain individuals on her do some fantastic sets too. I post my work and my various methods & am always happy to receive feedback & I am after 10 years still learning & improving as its an ever changing industry.

which hair did you use for these - looks amazing

What annoys me more than crap extensions is someone coming in here and only being a member for about 10 days and has now ruined a brilliant thread!!!!!

-lol!

Can we all just give up now!? And let's continue with the before and after pics (as this thread is about) here's one of mine from a while ago! got them retipped into nano's (mixture of bonded and nanos used) and custom coloured into dip dye for my mother as an experiment for really short hair (I apologise the before picture isn't brill as her hair was curly its a tiny bit longer then it looks and her top layers are long) final thing was fine although its a little thin but it's the only way I could have done it without being obvious because she has super fine hair anyway. It only blended in straight or curly, not sort of in the middle if this makes sense? So she couldn't just go out unless she had straightened or curled it other wise you can see the joining line faintly from her natural hair to the extensions :( her hair was too short at the back but like I said its not a client just an experiment on my mum :) 10 inches and I recall I bought 100 grams but don't think I used it all xxx

I agree it's not thick. BUT because of the length it looks natural. Lots of women with that length hair looks like that.
Any longer it would have looked like bad extensions.
You're experiment paid off

Anyone with short hair I recommend not going too long it was only a couple of inches to start of with and in some places less then 2! Lol :) I wanted to mimic the thickness (well how thin it is!) of her natural hair) thanks for your feedback. Like you said I couldn't really go any longer otherwise it would have looked a bit 'silly'. Thanks xx

Looks really natural Hun well done xxx

I love how you can use extensions for anything! Iv added some in the sides of my hair to thicken it up as its so damaged! Should help my natural hair grow down x

I know it'll brill! I have a regular she only has a few to thicken the sides and one another client has a few to cover a bold patch from a scar so it doesn't show when her hair is up as it was obvious then, we also add around 2 inches :) my first go was only to cover the scar so only used 100g but when she saw her hair with an additional 2 inch she didn't want me to cut it off lol! So now I use more then 100g :) xx

Yesterday's lovely lady, 100 strands 2 colours :)
