Can anyone please remind me of the shampoo, peroxide, bleach ratio?

I'm level 2 qualified but was never taught to do this. I have severe banding and peices of warmth that my hairdresser missed from a root bleach. I have a tiny bit of regrowth, is a bleach bath a bad idea as my dark roots are visible (but hardly) I don't want them to lift orange?

Why don't you try toning. :D

If the banding and warmth are intense, you may have to bleach your re-growth again, then dilute down the remaining bleach and take through to the ends.

I tried toning but it grabbed onto the lighter parts turning them a lovely ash white but just made the warm bits stand out even more yellow.

I will just stick it out until my next appointment i guess as I don't want to pay to do it again so soon!

You prob have banding because you left your roots over 3-4 weeks

I've never had this problem before though. My hairdresser used to work in a salon but it's ever since she's worked mobile I started to get it :(

Ok, not sure if this will work with bleach but wella recommend using 10/0 with 12% applied to the areas that banding requires removing, develop upto 40 mins. Could try this!!! Then you comb it through and can apply target shade ontop. But in your case I would shampoo and apply toner to root section only, 10/16 is a good one to remove yellow tones!!

If youre not happy with the service she provided, ask her to come back and have a look at it for you, as i'd say id doesn't sound like your roots are lifted quite enough to tone evenly, and i wouldn't recommend a root application of bleach on yourself as you will end up overlapping...you could try toning but if it's not quite light enough, it wont solve your problem

how many levels are you wanting to lift?
