You're not going to get white blonde, or even close, using anything other than bleach on a base 5.

yeh ano that would keep bleach foils if shes wanting it white was jus wonderin wots the lightest i could go staying ash and how to go about it without taking her too dark..

Well a highlift wouldn't lift clean so no ash, unless a green ash was used possibly but even that wouldn't be garunteed...and if so that would lift to an 8/9 and an ash tint would lift to a 7, if 30 vol was used for 3 levels you would probably struggle to cover the warmth exposed.

Why doesn't she want bleach anymore and does she have a scalp bleach or highlights?

its so difficult to explain to a client who thinks u can magically do anythng! lol. scalp bleach she gets she prefers full coverage doesnt like highlights, feels bleach is damaging her hair, her hair is clean white thats goldwell bleach 20vol. i use 12/81 with 12/16 on my hair with 40vol and its pretty white, but next to hers it doesnt look white

I know it's hard to explain but stick to your guns, if you don't believe it's possible, tell her it's not, otherwise you'll end up doing something she won't like and you'll have to correct it costing you more money.

If you explain that just doing the roots won't damage the ends further and you can't lift her hair much lighter than her natural whilst keeping it ash then she won't have anything to 'suggest' or complain about.

Also if you explain changing from bleach to tint will result in you needing to colour the ends to match up with the roots and that will damage the ends further.

Does she use pro products and have treatments regularly?

definately, i have no idea why she wants to change to tint, especially wen she nos herself she doesnt like any warmth atall. she has her roots dun every 4 weeks, and i dont have to tone. iv said to her before about changing and how it would have to go throo her ends which will damage more, its like toking to a brick wall. glad iv spoke to u i would have ended up just doin sthn knowing she wouldnt like it and havin to lift it agen lol. she uses shampoo from the poundshop and straightens constant!! nitemare client and has been for 6 years hehe. thanks for ur help
