Body wrap courses or similar

Hi I start in September a VTCT Swedish Body massage course but also wondering about things like body wraps, scrubs, etc - what sort of courses are there for this or are they included in say the Beauty Therapy NVQ's?

My college offers a Specialist Spa course as part of my VTCT Level 3 holistic course which also covers aromatherapy, swedish massage, reflexology and indian head. and from next year they will be offering a level 4 course just in spa.

Contact your college and ask them if they do the same. I know a lot of funding was put into this sort of course by the government last year for full time courses so maybe it will be the same for the next college year. As a full time course I do 16 hours a week.

there are definetely lots of courses out there in body scrubs and body wraps. I would do your swedish massage course first, as I think you would have a problem gettting insurance for just body wraps or scrubs.

most skincare companies have body treatments that you can also do.

algogolie have a hot foaming chocolate wrap and the training is free.
matis do a matispa range.

I did an Indonesian massage course and learnt body scrubs as part of that course. I did an ayurvedic massage course and learnt body scrubs on that.

I did an algae and slimming body wrap course a few years ago. Although I like the products, I wouldn't recommend the training company so won't endorse that course.

be very careful, as some courses that you go on, you don't learn very much and could easily do it yourself by reading the label off the pack that comes with the products.
