Hi Geeks. I am very new to nails, so please be gentle. This was my second attempt at a sculpt. That was my right hand (I am right handed, so I had a very difficult time doing this). All I can say is I really love this product, my first sculpting attempt was with a hard gel and a total disaster! I ripped my nail off so badly and just could not bare to leave it like that. So.. I gave it a go with a clear form and the BL clear sculpting gel. :o

I hope with time I can produce some of the wonderful sets I have seen on here.

I am so sorry for the HUGE picture! I have no idea how to make it smaller. *mortified*

My sister has Been wearing brisa sculpting gel for 2 weeks taken off correctly and look at the results ...
Lovely looking natural nails with no damage xx
Considering her nails have always been weak and brittle and never able to grow as she's always in bleach ... Tut tut ;-)

This is a pic of a wonderful client of mine who is 78 yrs young. She has heavily ridged nails so I asked her to try the new BL Smoothing gel under her favorite OPI polish, Comet Loves Cupid.
Here is the end result.....both of us are very happy!

One question though, you might notice that her eponychium is quite wide. I would never think to cut it, but do you suppose massaging it back with Solar Oil would help shrink it down to a proper size?

She should be thrilled with the smoothness of her ridged nails.

As far as the Eponychium ... try at each appointment to ease it back a bit .. don't really force it but 'poco a poco' .. little by little and she HAS to use it Solar Oil will shrink the Eponychium so that in a few appointments you won't believe the difference (mine looked like that once many years ago). SOLAR OIL SHRINKS THE EPONYCHIUM AND KEEPS IT TIGHT TO THE NAIL. I can't believe she has not been using it before now!!!

Oh, Geeg, you know you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink! It's not for lack of trying, believe me. I gave all my clients a mini solar oil for Christmas. I know that they will last just a couple of weeks if they are using it like they should. So...I ask them if they need any more, and they'll say they still have the bottle I gave them. That's when I go in for the kill, telling them they should have needed to buy more weeks ago if they were using it like they should. It lets them know I know they're fibbing to me and usually guilts them into buying more.
Wish I could go home with them and nag them into a good habit
Thanks for the suggestion, I thought it was the case. I'll certainly try to convince her :0

2 clients I did today with the brisa lite smoothing gel. Clients are all loving the new spring colours .
The tie dye effect one has quite ridged nails and the smoothing gel did help a little but you can still see on the top little finger they are still quite uneven, I did wonder if I should have used the sculpting gel instead, but these are her own nails and very strong so doesn't need the extra strength or length. I think next time I will try 2 thin coats of smoothing to see if this helps, but any other suggestions or advice welcome
