Here are my first ever sculpted gel nails using brisa lite. I'm an l&p girl but I love this product already. The picture is my left hand, still not attempted the right!

Still have a long way to go but training is booked and can only get better?!

Have you used the pink, white and then a clear over the top of the whole nail to get a nice shape.
I bought the kit which only comes with pink and white brisa so struggling to get the correct shape like yours with just pink and white?

I don't understand why it should make any difference? The pink is a building gel and anyone should be able to build whatever shape they want with it. The clear gel gives you an optional 'look' not an optional shape.

I think they look gorgeous!!

Soooooo tempted to buy this product... Just not sure which I would use most the smoothing or sculpting ... May just buy both lol

Thank you! And yes I would definitely get both! X

Thank you so much Geeg for the comment on my nails! You have no idea how happy it made me this morning.

I used just the pink and white gels as in one of Holly's super videos. I found it so lovely to work with, almost as if it knew what to do... Training on the 2nd April, can't wait!

Those nail are beautiful and they look just like Creative nails should ... Soft, lovely, natural shape ... no silly extremes or out-of-proportion tip-ex whites in sight. Lovely job. Enjoy your further training. x

Your post made me smile; Only recently a nail technician said ... "the product seems like it is programmed to go in the right places!!!" Sweet!

Sculpted extensions using Brisa Lite and Shellac Dark Lava

Nice job. Only thing I would say is ... 'shaping' ... personally I would like to see these made more oval rather than round .. I think it would better compliment the hand and the natural shape of the nails and eponychium line and better compliment the nice work you did.

Great job with those nails lucileu!

And chrogers, the price is so fantastic for the Brisa Lite gels, that I would get both.

I think I may just do that ;-)

Literally just online now ordering the platinum shellac kit ;-) chuffed!

As soon as the Brisa kits come back in stock I think I will but those too.

Sorry if this has been asked already, am I right in thinking that the smoothing gel is for clients who want a little boy of extra strength from their shellac service? Ideal for clients who's natural nails are weak, ridged or peeling etc. It is soaked off every two-three weeks and re applied each time.

Sculpting gel is to add length, so either over tips or sculpted... Does this also need to be removed every two-three weeks or can you infill?

Apologies again if this has already been asked. Thank you in advance

Jody xx

smoothing gel is to smooth the surface of nails that are ridged, uneven or damaged ... Using it will increase the wear time of Shellac for these challenged clients who can not normally go for 2 weeks+

Sculpting gel is to add length, so either over tips or sculpted... Does this also need to be removed every two-three weeks or can you infill?

Sculpting gel can be maintained just like any other enhancement OR removed by the soak off method. Used for those with weak or flexible nails, bitten nails etc. very strong and surprisingly light and natural-feeling. You add both length or/and strength with the Sculpting gel.

Apologies again if this has already been asked. Thank you in advance

Yes the questions have been asked before ... But here are the answers for you.

This is a new client who came to me 3 weeks ago. Never ever had anything done to her nails (cuticles were half way down her nail!) I spent a long time trying my best I could to push back and remove as much as I could without damage of course. I applied BL smoothing ( she had fairly ridged nails) with shellac rock royalty .
She was initially booked in last week but postponed because they were 'still perfect' and even when she came tonight they were still perfect just a bit of regrowth :)

Well this is how her nails looked after removal ( which took only 10 mins) I only regret not taking photo before.

I reapplied BL smoothing with vexed violet and away she went totally converted to nails - even talking about a wee bit of nail art next time :)

This client can wear shellac for 6 days chip free usually! She chipped her index finger and has hidden it in the picture for my benefit bless her! But this is after 22 days with brisa smoothing and shellac x
