Bubbles in gel

HELP ME... Been using 'dip my toes' loads, never had a problems before or with any other colour, using all ibd (powerbond, base & top coat) did I set of nails 5 hours ago and it's now got a few bubbles on 6 nails..... What's happened????

What did you use to prep the nails with?

Shame as Iv always used, I did a manicure then wiped with the prep+wipe never had this happen in all the years Iv been doing gels

It could be that you used too much solution to wipe the nails with or they weren't completely dry when you applied the gel polish

Another reason could be that your polish is contaminated with oil

What oil ? The client before had it and no problems with her.... A wait a few mins till applying the gel after wiping.... I'm lose on ideas :-( odd it wasn't at the time but 5 hours after x

Could the base or first layer of colour have been undercured? Could the client have put their hands in incorrectly?

Not that I could see, I apply thin layer always, surly if that was the problem it would of shown at the time? X

What has the client done since having her nails done and taking the picture?

I asked her, she just said I haven't but them in water..... She's coming bk tomorrow morning ... I'll re do the nails, so I'll ask more questions just seems odd, Iv been doing this for years now, never had a problem like it before..... To me feels like it's her nails.... Xx

I had one client who said her gel polish had 'blistered'. She removed it before I seen them and I'd done her toes and her mums fingers and toes too and all ok. It happened 4 days after I applied it so it was something she's come into contact with.

That's what I was thinking but I'm guessing the client probably won't say if they had ... Just seems odd to happen hours after....
