Did you get it fixed? Can I ask did your lamp have the exact same problem with only 2 bulbs working?
Am just back from speaking to a repair shop. The guy said he knows nothing about nail lamps and wasnt prepared to even try fixing it. I also called my supplier and was told that if it is outwith the 12 months there is nothing that can be done, it should just be binned!
I hate our "throw away" society, especially when these lamps are so expensive to replace.
Dont suppose your hubby would take on another wee repair? :wink2:
Hiya im not sure what the bit was called because he took the piece out that was broken and showed maplins ?Wow this is the same problem I am having! Sorry to bother you Lisa but could your hubby tell my hubby what is needed? Would be ever so greatful as miss my lamp working properly. Would buy another but no one will help on me getting one to Gibraltar. So now I will wait for the new lamp and somehow get it over..Will take some time. But really would like my lamp to work again.
Thank you

Hi there, I've got the same problem, did you manage to fix your lamp ?Hi ladies,
I know it's an old post but wondered if anyone knew what bit it is that breaks as I had 2 lamps that hadn't even done 50 hours and the first one broke earlier this year so I started to use my spare and that broke tonight.
I contacted sweet squared and surprisingly they were really unhelpful and I've emailed cnd twice and had no response. My lamps are out of warranty, the first broken one I dumped in anger and don't want to do the same to this one.
I hardly use my lamps as its a side line to hairdressing ( I am trained in nails) and can't afford to replace the cnd lamp but can't afford to loose customers so would rather it fixed. But also am unsure if I should buy a cheaper brand in the mean time.
I did try my local elextrician last time but he wouldn't touch it as he said he had never seen a nail lamp.
Thanks in advance x
