I had a client who'd dyed her hair a dark brown/plum colour but after hated it and wanted to go lighter, client also has some greys but not all over mostly at the roots. I brought the Goldwell colour removal kit left it on for 20 minutes using heat and a cap.
After washing off the colour was lightened about 2 shades and the previous colour was completely gone we was left with about a light 6 base but the mid lengths and ends - especially the ends where slightly darker, Client then wanted to then to a shade lighter to a 7, so i applied a 7g through midlengths and ends with a 9% and did the roots with a 3%
The result we have been left with is slightly lighter roots with hardly any grey coverage and still darker roots and midlengths...
I was thinking to go through the roots again with the 7g with a 3% to try and match with the ends and mid? and then adding some 10 blond high lights through the hair to reach her desired lightness? xx
