Designer Nails NAME CHANGE... You heard it here first!

Dear All - I have pasted the press release I did for the trade press yesterday. They have all received this info so I thought the site should be next in line to get it. This info will also be mentioned in the new Update for March/April and it will be mentioned at ExCeL plus you will notice the name change on the NEW price-list that will be launched at the ExCeL Show. I think it is self explanatory and as far as DN customers / OSNS customers etc are concerned, you don't need to do anything! Enjoy! :Love:

For the past 20 years Designer Nails UK Ltd has been the leading supplier to one of the fastest growing industries in the UK. It’s an exciting thought, one which only serves to fuel our passion further!

At Designer Nails we have a wonderful team of Creative Ambassadors who represent our Award Winning Education program; we also have a dedicated team of professionals who are expert at bringing in the most innovative products into the marketplace.

The consequence of this is that it is now appropriate to change our company name to reflect the next stage in the evolution of our business.

Once again we have raised the stakes in terms of product development, innovation and creativity. With this in mind we are delighted to be able to announce that Designer Nails will now be promoted as a stand-alone brand alongside our three other amazing product offerings, Creative Nail Design, Nimue Skin Technology and Anthony Braden Cosmetics.

When choosing our new name, we wanted something that discreetly reflects the brands we represent and distribute. To that end we have chosen and feel very at home with the Hyperion Group Limited.

Why Hyperion?
In Greek Mythology, Hyperion was the Titan God of Light. We all immediately related to the story as we believe that the products we represent ‘show the light’ to our customers and in turn their customers, just as our Ambassadors teach students to ‘see the light’ when it comes to incredible nail, beauty and make-up skills!

We are all excited and proud to launch the Hyperion Group name upon the beauty industry and we are even more enthusiastic and exhilarated about our future.

I can see the need for a new name as nail products where not the only items being distrubuted...so Designer Nails i suppose could have been..Designer Nails and Beauty...but i do like the new name and the logic behind it. xx

Congratulations and every success with the new name.

From a customer point of view if the service and products are the same then it shouldn't make any difference.

If it helps with your business growth then it helps with ours.

Jen believe me I know where you are coming from... I have grown up with Designer Nails... but nothing is changing... just the name. Heck - you all call us Creative anyway and we figured that many of our customers will just continue to refer to us as DN or Creative which is FINE. The building is the same and people answering the phones are the same. In fact we are all the same... but, we have bought in Nimue (which is beauty), by Sept this year we will launch Academie Scientifique de Beaute - Paris. We house Anthony Braden Cosmetics and all of those as well as Creative and Designer Nails own brand... don't fit under the DN name.

It's taken you out of your comfort zone as it did me, but all know, that Simon and Gigi have backed this fully (and DN was mum's baby..) so feel positive for the future and understand that ONLY the name changes - nothing else! Continue to call us DN if it makes you feel good! :hug:

You have got me summed up exactly... I am nervous of changes... but I do wish you all the very best with your plans and launch ... I am sure we will all be 'comfortable' with the new name very soon... just pouting at the moment cos I love the old one... pay no heed to me
