Glad to see that the new name has a Greek connection!

On a lighter note - lets hope with this new "Greek Connection" (in the new name) - that this great company does'nt start doing business with a "Greek Connection" - otherwise everything will run slowly with siestas, coffee breaks, *** breaks, more coffee breaks, more siestas, we'll do that tomorrow attiude, mountains and mountains of uneccessary paperwork and everything closing at 2pm.

Seriously, good luck to the new name - not quite as easy to remember and not so much of "it does what is says on the tin" !!

ooooh

at work we use an accounting system which is called Hyperion....

Not sure about it personally, like others, but as you say it is just gonna take some getting used to, and I can understand the need for the change.

Glad to hear Gigi & Simon are on board being the UK founders an all that.

Like you say samantha we generally all call it creative anyway !!

you know what samantha

Dont mind the hyperion bit its the group Ltd i dont like hun

But like you said it CREATIVE all the way with me hardly ever refer to DN.

You got a busy year a head by the sounds of it and i drink to your expantion.

As if i need a reason to drink lol

I am so glad this has finally been released, I was so scared I would use the new name and let the cat out of the bag before it was!!.....
I know it will take a bit of getting used to but Designer Nails is now so much more than nails.....maybe it seems odd to those of you who soley use DN for nail supplies but for those Therapists out there who are now using Nimue and ABC cosmetics it will make more sense.

I particularly like the name maybe bacause I like the idea of bringing light to people!!.......Oh and Jen don't mention comfort zones GMG doesn't like THEM!!

Hi Mrs Geek,

I wish you guys all the success in the world, as you know I am creative crazy, so I will still call you guys Creative but I do love the new name, it rings so true, I sure saw the light before it was too late!!

Good luck

I think it's great that your business has diversified and grown to the level that it's at today.....so many people trust and have loyalty to the brands that you distribute...and now you are a 'group' I think it's great... won't take long for your customers to get used to the new name I'm sure.

I like it. I like it a lot. x

I am one of those who always referred to DN as Creative, so will just carry on doing that as I confuse easliy, but good luck with it, it sounds great.

LMAO ME TOO

Thank you ALL... for your thoughts and well wishes. Of course we know some will prefer the old name... it is a name we all love (including me) and feel at home with. But I am confident that the Hyperion group (and yes to whoever said... do we pronounce it like HIGH-PIER-E-ON... yes we do) - here's to the future.

And yes... to those of you who call us Creative anyway, why change... as Jen said 'if it ain't broke'....

The feedback is great, keep it coming and to those who asked about Price Lists... we will be introducing the new ones at ExCeL and I would imagine that we will send new ones out after that. :smack:

tho the new name will get some getting used to, i think i can safely say that we will probs all still call you DN or creative, but can understand the wheres and whyfors.

Thanks Glynis - nice pic with Ketan there

onwards and upwards...hiperion ltd reflects the expansion from nails through to beauty....many congratulations and future success xx

Hmmmmm...... Hyperion (did I spell it right???) it'll take some getting used to. I like the mythology behind it all and the reason it was chosen etc.... all in all I do tend to say Creative rather than Designer Nails. Still I'll raise my glass for the continued success of Hyperion Nails!

It's gonna be really strange to ring up and get you guys answering 'hello hyperion group limited' (wonder how many times you will slip up and say DN ..you will have to get post it notes stuck to the phones to remind you lol x and even stranger to hear Sams voice on the answer machine saying it lol(I'm pretty sure someone said that is Sam anyway?)...it's just been DN forever...we will all get used to though it I'm sure xxx

I doubt 'our Nicola' who is our trusty receptionist and has been with us for nearly 5 years, will say 'Good Morning Hyperion Group Ltd' - she never said 'Good Morning Designer Nails UK Ltd'...... I think she'll say 'Good Morning Hyperion Group - how may I direct your call'.. yeh that sounds cool! :!:

OMG this is getting worse..... first of all I couldnt remember the name at all, and now all that keeps coming to mind is ''hypertension''!!!!!!
