Has anyone founf this any darker or do you find it is alot lighter, as in it goes on a bit darker however it completley washes off??

I found a post last week about it and decided to contact clients about the new darker solution containg vit d i had been using,,,, however they were not impressed,,but not said anything:irked::irked:

I tried it myself lastnight wit totally tan free skin and can see what they mean, as it went on lovely, yet when showerd it looked very light (not darker) even to the extent my partner commented this evening saying my legs look pale:eek::eek: lol..... xx

Hi Katie

It was me who started the other thread about this. All Fake Bake kept telling me was that I had got one faulty bottle from a batch but then it turned out that the replacement bottle was also from the same batch and was faulty too  All along Fake Bake have denied that this is a wider problem but it obviously is. They have now sent me another replacement and tis time I compared the ingredients list on the old bottle. With the new bottle several ingredients have now changed and also the Vitamin D, that they were claiming to be the best thing since sliced bread, has now been removed! I wonder if it was this that was causing the problem.

What you have described is exactly what was happening to my customers and now I having to re-spray the affected customers for free. Good luck with contacting Fake Bake about this because their customer service is an absolute nightmare. They said they would credit the replacement bottles back to my account when they received the 'faulty' bottle back but I've just had my statement through yesterday and they've charged me for one of them even though I sent both 'faulty' bottles back to them!!

I'm now looking at getting in the Organic's range from Wow Factor and fazing out the Fake Bake as I've lost total confidence in both the product and the company.

Feel free to PM me if I can be of any further help x

I am going to ring them tomorrow for sure, thankyou will let you know how I get on x

I telephoned them yesterday and they informed me that yes indeed the vit d had now been removed and would pick my 2l bottles up via courier today and send me two new bottles.

However I have just rang them as no one been to pick them up spoke to another advisor whom said no the solution never contained the ingredient vit d it was put in wrong bottles:irked::irked:

But they would test mine and let me know if they are faulty or not. I find that there customer service is really bad, not atall friendly or helpfull, I am seriously considering not using and setting up a st tropez account.

Kate x

They said that they would test the solution and get back to me too but they never did  Its such a difficult decision to move to another brand though as Fake Bake is so well known and to be perfectly fair the more brown colour of the solution seems to be what most people want. I often have people calling me just on the basis that I use Fake Bake. Problem is though that I dont feel that I can trust the brand or the company now.

I wouldn't just opt for St Tropez though without researching other brands first. There are lots of fab, trusted companies out there with really good customer service. I'm currently road testing the Organic's range from Wow Factor. Contact Collin if you're interested in trying it

Bliss I agree with you. I earn a good wage from my tans, I do over 20 tans per week and thats mainly thu fri. I use la tan and thats my best seller as I can do cheap and its nice colour. I also use sudo, and sun labs. Dont like sienna x.

Believe me ive tried em all, and I mean most of them. I get alot of girls wanting st tropez tbh, I dont have many request for fake bake but do have clients whom prefer to pay more for a name so opted for fake bake, but I have also lost faith in the brand and told them this. Did not seem to bothered.

And then was on telephone to la tan lovely company, bought my 4th litre in 2 months and lady was so lovely, thats how customer service should be. i think fake bake have got to big for boots:smack:
