I would like to do a gel course but am overwhelmed by the amount of information available on the Internet and would rather go with personal recommendations. I am open as to which system I use - Bio and Briess have both been recommended to me. I live between Reading and Oxford and would like a course near me.
I am also trying to reduce start up costs so would like advice on what to buy. (I know the course that I go on will recommend their products/hardware but I want to check they are not ripping me off so need to do research first). What is the minimum amount of products I need without compromising quality. I know I need a lamp, brushes and the actual gel but do I need top gel, anything to prepare the nail etc. As you can see I am a complete novice!
Finally I would like advice about uv curing lamps. Do all lamps work for all systems so if I am using one type of gel, I can use someone elses lamp who is using another?
