Here is Blue Raspberry with Swarovski crystals and silver studs. It looks very similar to Blue Hydrangea in this photo, but I promise that it's not!! Lol xx

Love it! Did you find it covered the nail well? Bloomin hell, that's another dilemma, blue raspberry or blue hydrangea! Ahhh!

Grape, kiwi, Toasted Marshmallow, Strawberry, Blue Hydrangea.

Love them all, but toasted marshmallow doesn't tickle my fancy at all!

Is Toasted Marshmallow very similar to Sweet Dreams? Xx

Sweet Dreams is much more pinky than Toasted Marshmallow. To be honest Toasted Marshmallow isn't my cup of tea either, it looks the colour of pale milk chocolate or toffee. Think it might look fab with a layer of Electric Touch over or may be some glitter and could definitely be used well in nail art. Strawberry is gorgeous. I've still to make my mind up about Kiwi. Dont think il bother with Cherry, Blue Raspberry or Lemon but what do you guys think?

Out of the new collection I love strawberry, blue raspberry, blueberry and grape. I am unsure if to buy blueberry or blue boost, grape or purple power and either blue raspberry or blue hydrangea. So bad at making decisions and hard to pick something that my clients will like. Not just something I like! X x

I also had to use four coats with Strawberry and Kiwi. It looks good though, a really pretty pink, my favourite at the moment.

Do you think it'll last ok? Xx

Thanks for posting, I'm going to try using strawberry this week. I love the colour, just a shame it needs 4 coats.

Hi,

I have always used an LED lamp with my Gelicure, a big initial spend but in comparison to replacing UV lamps long term it was cheaper.

Mine is the Gelish 6G, 230 volts. I cure base and top coat for 30 seconds and colours for 10 seconds. When painting the colour I usually do 2 fingers cure and then 2 on the other hand and swap until all fingers are complete, I then do thumbs together. You need to ensure the client has their thumbs as flat as possible as they will not cure near the matrix. I found that doing 2 and then curing prevents shrinking of the colour, as some do and I can paint 2 nails just as the 10 second timer goes off. Therfore no going back over shrinkage and I am consistently working.

Thanks for posting the new colours and comments. I shall have to make some decisions about what to buy.

Hello.
I currently use colour wheels for my Gelicure samples for clients to choose their colour. However clients have pressed to hard on them against their nails and snapped them.
I can't decide what type of sample thing to use. Wheel or tips?
I have seen better wheels that have a better join to the centre of the wheel so they are more sturdy.
I have also seen quite a lot of you using the tips that are displayed in a fan. Are they strong to avoid snapping? Where do you buy them? Thanks

Hi frankie91,

I use the individual ones that you display in a fan and live them. It makes it so easy to add extra ones or if by any chance one does get broken you just do another one, you aren't left with a broken wheel! The other advantages are that you can write the colour name on the stick and if you're using them to practice layering and it doesn't quite work out, you just take that pop out.

Live=love! Oops! Sorry, forgot to say, I get mine from eBay.
Hth

i too have just invested in the fan displays and are loving them- i like the fact i am able to write the colours on them. got mine from ebay too xx

Brilliant. Thank you both of you! Would you be able to give me the listing numbers for the ones you bought? Also what do you write on them with? X x
