Need help with a problem ladies!
A lady has been a client of mine for about 3months for Gelicure and she gets a good 3 weeks out of each application. Her nails were very strong and good condition. However this last application, upon removal, she said her nails had split, cracked, peeled and snapped right down. I removed it and very gently buffed loose bits of nail off and filed them neatly. She said she wanted to leave it a week and i told her to stick to her cuticle oil regime. She has just come for her appointment and only wanted nubar polish on today and said her nails were still doing it - its only on free edge though, nail beds are perfect. Can you tell me if i have done anything wrong? I don't want to loose her as a Gelicure client. Thanks

Have you asked if she's had a change in medication? This happened to my mum when she was put on some new medication and I now gently buff while nail and use step 2 all over and she uses solar oil and all seems to be good again. Hopefully for you it's as simple x

I have just used 1 coat of victorain teal layered with 1 coat of a la mode for a lovely purple! xx

Also, what is the procedure to repair a chip in Gelicure? I did learn it on my course but i have totally forgotten!

I looked through all the pages last night but couldn't find the repair bit anywhere!

Buff top, do base, colour x how many coats you need just on chipped bit. Top coat all over to make it smooth. :)

Found it, was obviously too sleepy last night to see it. Is this how everyone else does it? X

Just spoken to palms extra regarding fixing chipping - buff top coat from whole nail, smooth out ridge between Gelicure and chip, apply step 2 to exposed nail only, base coat over whole nail, colour over whole nail, colour over whole nail, top coat. X x

Thanks, off to try this one.x

Looking at getting victoria teal for October time so would like to see other options, would either of u be able to post pic of layering once done please?x

Gelicure ladies...... My uv lamp blew up yesterday so I took the plug and went & brought the new Nubar LED lamp..... It is so cute can't wait to use it! They are going to bring out some LED gels this yr too :)

I really want a lovely candy orange... Heartbreak is too red, and Out A Sight Orange is too neon... Any suggestions on what I could layer to try and create it...? Xx

Mix a little yellow into heartbreak or (guessing as I don't have the neon out of sight orange) adding a little white to out of sight orange maybe..... let me know how you get on.

Try a tiny bit on foil using cocktail sticks,so as not to waste it, then when you have a colour you like put it in a little pot. I use my old 4ml Bio Sculpture pots as they are opaque. Take off ALL the labels so you don't get confused & relabel it up with the mix you do.
Don't forget to let me know how you get on as I love creating new colours & I don't have the neons.x
