Hello just looking for advice really going on a gellux training course is the brand any good and are the products good ? If anybody uses them or trained with them can you let me know what you think
Thanks

I trained with them and enjoyed the course but it is realllly hard to get off when it comes to soaking. It could be me though as some people have no problems at all. X

I used gellux a few years back, some colours apply okay but I found generally with the dark colours they were so hard to cure correctly, ended up bubbling up even with super thin coats and shrinking away from the side wall. And I agree, really hard to remove. Always left some residue of base coat on the nail. I use ibd just gel which is great for removals, lasts 3 weeks on most clients, and loads of colours. I've also got some gelish colours and orly fx which I use with the ibd base and top coat. Hope that helps. Enjoy your training!

I use it with no problems, you just have to buff off the gloss before soaking. Great product

I have used GELLUX for 3 years now and love it , I use the remover with wraps and don't have any issues with removal , they don't seem to have as many colours as shellac but still have plenty to choose from ..... Most of my ladies go between 2-3 weeks and application is great ,stick to thin coats , some pale/pastel colours require 3 coats ...... Hope this helps x

I use gellux and don't find it hard to remove, as long as you buff the Topcoat slightly to break the seal, soak and I give the client a cuppa as the heat speeds up the process. It's fine.
Just wish they would have more colours although they have just brought a few more out funnily enough!

When I used gellux I used the heated mitts you can use with manicures when the foils were on. I did find that helped with removal but still had to wait a good 10 mins before I could start removing. Whereas with ibd just gel, I buff the top coat on one hand, wrap in foil then buff the other hand and wrap and by the time I've finished the first hand is ready to remove. X
