Hiya guys! I have a bit of a dilemma with a client. She has just phoned me to tell me she has coloured her hair herself and it has gone quite golden at the roots, which to be fair would make sense as she is about a base 5, and she has put 12/1 + 12% (KP) on it. She now wants to go a 7.1 all over. Obviously before I do this I will be doing strand tests etc. I have attached a picture of her hair now, but what I want to know is how in gods name am I supposed to do it im a bit stuck, as obviously I dont want to put it on and it go green as their is no red to it, but i'm also not sure if I have to pre-pig it first?!?! HELP!!! Clients tomorrow!!! Also what strength peroxide etc?!?! xxx Obviously the picture of the first one is what she wants it to be, and the second is how she would like it to look, she doesnt have extensions, just clip ins!! x

Why dont you go for colour touch instead of koleston? Id personally prepig with gold. Would be a nice beige ash result after you apoly the 7.1 aswell

Yes pre pig with gold, wella perfecton is good to pre pig with.

personally wouldn't go for ash straight away has it may tend to have a khaki appearance, I've made that mistake!! I would choose a warmer shade for first time or and then go for ash next time. Also would use porosity equalizer!!

But yes colour touch not koleston,
