Hey andy
I would really love a waxing workshop in London:)

Let us know the datails of the date and where it is,i would love to learn new waxing skills with hard wax.Ive used reference for the face find it really good.

Me too!! I've also not used hot wax since I qualified, and I've not used the new waxes either. Sounds very interesting. I think you may have a very large class on your hands here, Andy!

Oh goodness, lol, that's a fantastic response, thanks folks! :D

Leave it with me for a few days, and I'll see what I can do - if anyone has any suggestions in the meantime of specifics they'd like to cover (beyond the basics of using the new-style hard waxes for legs, underarms, facial waxing, bikinis, etc, and perhaps something on male waxing) let me know. I can't promise we'll fit it all in, but it'll give me something to work from.

Thanks again for all your positive responses, watch this space!! :D

Andy x

A definite yes for me

Okey dokey, I've spoken with the lovely folks at Perron Rigot (who supply my wax), and they will let us use their training room and supply wax for us on the day! Just to confirm, you DON'T have to be a Perron Rigot customer to come on the workshop, this is open to any therapist who wants to get some experience with the new style hard waxes, regardless of the brand you currently use, and there is NO OBLIGATION to buy anything!

Before I go ahead and book the room, I want to get an idea of whether people would prefer a half-day session (3 hours hands-on) or full day (5 hours hands-on + 1 hour lunch). The half day would give plenty of time to play with the waxes on each other, the full day would mean we'd have to start looking at bringing models, etc, and this would also reduce the number of people that could attend. There are benefits and disadvantages for both, obviously, especially for those folks who will be travelling.

Decisions, decisions, lol :D

I've prob missed something obvious, but where is the peron rigot training room, and do you have an approx price? Definatlely up for it!

The venue is located in central London (Zone 2, extremely easy to get to) and I'm hoping it'll be very close to FREE, certainly if we go for the half-day sessions (sorry if that sounds a bit vague, but I need to confirm room rental and timings before I can promise anything, lol)!

half day would be good for me too. Would just need to work out how I could get there Andy.

Can you tell me nearest train station or if I could fly into one of the London airports that was close by?

The nearest tube station is South Quay, Joe, which is about 15 minutes from Waterloo (Jubilee Line to Canary Wharf, then DLR to South Quay). From there it's literally a 5-10 minute walk down the road. :)

Half day would be good for me too. I'm definitely interested.

OOOh, this sounds very very interesting! Also sounds like they're not far from the Thalgo training centre in South Quay - I was there when i trained for my job in a Spa - lovely area and really easy to get to.

I would be really interested in being involved in this. I did some basic training with Lycon, and found that it changed my attitude to hot waxing completely, and i do hot waxing quite a bit now as i find it much more effective on Bikini and u/a areas....:green:

hehe i'm very excited how do we book a placE?!?!?
